Q. What does the sitting fee cover?
A. The sitting fee covers the time you spend with the photographer and your set of proofs.
Q. Is retouching done if I get the Budget Service?
A. Limited retouching is done if you had a Budget sitting. Colour and density are corrected and the images are cropped.
Q. Do you post overseas? How much does it cost?
A. Yes, we do post overseas. The postage fee is the same as our postage and handling fee within Australia - there is no extra charge.
Q. Can I choose my own prints for packages?
A. Yes, you can choose any combination of proofs to make up our Premium packages. For the Budget Service, we choose the best photograph for you.
Q. What is the difference between normal print and canvas finish?
A. Our photos are printed on professional photographic matt paper. If you purchase a canvas, the photograph is transferred onto artist canvas, giving the print a beautiful textured finish.
Q. Can I view my proofs on the web?
A. Only Presentation photos from your ceremony (receiving your certificate) may be viewed online. You can not view your Premium service proofs online – a set of proofs is mailed to you soon after the graduation.
Q. How long do the Presentation photos stay on the web?
A. Presentation proofs are available online for 2 weeks following the graduation.
Q. Is a CD-Rom of my images available?
A. A CD-Rom of all your images is available at no charge with Packages A, B and C or on request if your order is over AU$500.
If you wish to have the CD-Rom only, without any prints, it will cost AU$300. You will be able to print any size from the CD,
but we cannot guarantee the quality of printing from any other lab. The images on the CD-Rom will NOT be retouched, apart from those that you order as prints.
Q. How long do you keep the photographs?
A. All digital files are kept indefinitely. After 6 months photographs are archived. Retrieval of archived photographs attracts a small retrieval fee.
Q. I graduated a while ago. Can I still order prints?
A. You can order photographs that were taken in 2005 or later. Prior to 2005 photographs were taken on film. Please contact the studio to see if negatives from your graduation are still available.
Q. What type of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash (paid in person only), cheque /bank draft/ money order, Visa and MasterCard.
Q. Who should cheques or money orders be made payable to?
A. Please make cheques payable to “Southam Studios Photography”.
